austria

On March 6, 2012 the honorable Austrian Consul General, Karin Proidl, hosted AJC ACCESS Los Angeles at her private residence.  In conjunction with ACCESS's first ever trip to Austria, ACCESS LA organized a reception with the Consul General and Deputy Consul General of Austria as part of its diplomatic series, which is ACCESS LA's signature program.  The intimate gathering granted the opportunity for some of the most accomplished, driven, and passionate Jewish young professionals to engage in a candid dialogue with Consul General Proidl on the current domestic political, social, and economic climate of Austria, while also discussing Austria's international standing in today's global landscape. AJC ACCESS Leadership Dinner with Israeli Deputy Consul General Gil Artzyeli

ACCESS LA with Deputy artzyeli

On February 22, 2012 ACCESS Los Angeles held its first ACCESS Leadership Dinner with the Israeli Deputy Consul General, Gil Artzyeli.  This invitation-only event was a token of appreciation for AJC LA ACCESS members who currently hold a leadership role, have held one in the past, or have shown tremendous commitment and potential for future leadership.  Deputy Consul General Gil Artzyeli presented a very informative and engaging briefing on the major issues concerning Israel. The off-the-record discussion allowed ACCESS leaders to ask questions that tackled some of the most pressing issues of conflict surrounding Israel.  ACCESS provides the same quality of programming for its young professionals that AJC provides to its most experienced leaders, because it seeks to empower and give ''access" to the future leaders of AJC and the global Jewish community.
