Yitzchak Besser graduated with a degree in English Literature, Creative Writing, and Physics from New York University in 2009. After considering a career in publishing, Yitzchak decided to move to Israel instead, despite the nagging question of what to do with an English degree in a country that doesn’t use English (the answer: freelance writing/editing). After a short stint in ulpan, he enlisted and served for six months in the West Bank/Judea and Samaria (depending on your political preference), where he worked in foreign relations and media transparency. This line of work so greatly appealed to him that Yitzchak decided to pursue it as a career path by enrolling in the Political Science masters’ program at Hebrew University. He currently lives in Jerusalem.
